What fiber is in Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies?
Chicory root fiber, 5 g per 2 gummies. It is the first of the nine other ingredients, and the panel prints a single dietary fiber line, 5 g and 18% of the Daily Value, with no split into soluble and insoluble fiber. Pectin comes second on the list, and the panel leaves the share of the 5 g from each ingredient unstated.1
The product page text calls the fiber chicory root inulin; this record enters the label's words, chicory root fiber, which is also the term Physician's Choice uses in its own safety wording. Where chicory root fiber and pectin sit on FDA's lists of fibers that count as dietary fiber is set out in PC-REC-007.
How much sugar is in Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies?
Less than 1 gram per serving, with 0 grams added. The panel prints total sugars as "<1g" and "Includes 0g Added Sugars," and none of the nine ingredients is a sugar, a sugar alcohol or a high-intensity sweetener by name. Chicory root fiber, pectin and tapioca starch head the list, with natural flavor, citric acid and trisodium citrate further down.1
That "<1g" follows FDA's rounding rule. Supplement panels use the food rule's increments, and for total sugars FDA lets a serving with less than 1 gram be declared as "less than 1 gram," and one with less than 0.5 gram "may be expressed as zero."2,3 So the label says the amount is under 1 gram, not how far under. The dagger beside it points to the footnote "Daily Value (DV) not established": FDA's Daily Reference Values include added sugars, at 50 g for adults and children 4 and older, and no figure for total sugars.2,3
What else is in Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies?
Eight ingredients after the fiber, in the label's order: pectin, tapioca starch, agar agar, natural flavor, citric acid, trisodium citrate, black carrot for color, and carnauba wax. Pectin and agar agar are the gelling ingredients, no gelatin is listed, and the label prints "Vegan." What each of the eight does, with its FDA listing, is in PC-REC-004.1
The label's "Formulated without allergens" line is not entered on this record until Physician's Choice confirms how it is printed. The separate facility line is entered as printed: the gummies are made in a facility that also processes soy, gluten, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish and sesame.1
Does the product page match the Fiber Gummies label?
Mostly, with three differences in wording. The product page calls the fiber chicory root inulin where the label says chicory root fiber, names the flavor raspberry lemonade where the label says Raspberry Lemon, and adds a glass of water to the directions. This record enters the label's words in every case.1
| Line | On the label | On the product page |
|---|---|---|
| Fiber name | Chicory root fiber | "5g chicory root inulin" |
| Flavor | Raspberry Lemon | "Natural raspberry lemonade flavor" |
| Directions | "Adults chew two (2) gummies daily." | "Take 2 gummies once daily with a glass of water, any time of day." |
How many Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies should you take a day?
Two, as the label directs: "Adults chew two (2) gummies daily." That serving gives 5 g of fiber, and the 60-gummy bottle lasts 30 days at that rate. How to start, what time of day, and whether every day is fine are answered on Physician's Choice's own page, How many fiber gummies should I take a day?1
For the daily total, Physician's Choice gives one line: "Adults get 25 to 38 grams of fiber per day, though exact targets depend on age and sex." Set against that range, one 5 g serving supplies 13% to 20% of the day, on our own calculation.
Do Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies cause gas?
They can, as fiber does. Physician's Choice says: "Our 60 Billion Probiotic and Digestive Enzymes contain inulin, and our Fiber Gummies contain chicory root fiber; gut bacteria break down fibers like these, which can cause gas." NIDDK explains the step behind it: carbohydrates, fiber among them, that the stomach and small intestine do not fully digest pass to the large intestine, "where bacteria break them down and create gas."4
The side effects Physician's Choice lists across its probiotic, enzyme and fiber products are on its page Physician's Choice probiotic and digestive enzymes side effects.
Are Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies good? What the label can settle
A label can settle what goes into each gummy and who prints each line, not how the gummy will suit you. Here it settles 5 g of fiber per serving, under 1 g of sugars with none added, a vegan gummy gelled with pectin and agar agar, a printed testing line and the full ingredient list. We enter no study of this gummy.1
Nor is the name a verdict. Physician's Choice puts it this way: "Physician’s Choice is our brand name, not a claim that doctors recommend or endorse our products." Ratings and customer reviews sit with the product page and retailers, outside this record.
What does this record not show?
Some lines are missing from the label, one printed line is on hold, and some page wording is left out on purpose. The panel gives no soluble or insoluble split and no exact sugar figure under 1 gram, the product page's wording for the fiber and the flavor is not entered, and nothing here says how soon the gummies work. The table sets out each gap and what fills it for now.

It gives no fiber split and no exact sugar figure, and this record rates none of it.

Questions about Fiber Gummies
Are Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies good?
No verdict here; the record lays out the label. On the label: 5 g of fiber in 2 gummies, from chicory root fiber; less than 1 g of total sugars and 0 g added; vegan, with no gelatin listed; and a third-party testing footnote. No study of this gummy is entered.
How much fiber is in Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies?
5 g of dietary fiber per 2-gummy serving, 18% of the Daily Value, from chicory root fiber. That is 2.5 g per gummy by our arithmetic, and the bottle holds 30 servings. Physician's Choice puts the adult daily total at 25 to 38 grams, depending on age and sex.
Do Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies have sugar?
Under 1 gram. The panel prints total sugars as "<1g" and 0 g added sugars, and no sugar, sugar alcohol or high-intensity sweetener is named in the ingredients. FDA's rounding rule lets any amount under 1 gram be printed that way, so the label does not give the exact figure.
Are Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies vegan?
The label prints "Vegan." The gummy is set with pectin and agar agar, and no gelatin is listed among the nine ingredients. The separate "Formulated without allergens" line is held on this record until Physician's Choice confirms how it is printed.
Where are the reviews of Physician's Choice Fiber Gummies?
Ratings and customer reviews live on the product page and at retailers. This record leaves them out because neither is printed on a label; what it keeps is each printed line, dated, with its source, and a mark wherever the label is silent.
