About this record: how it is kept
Published by Physician's Choice, which makes the products discussed on this site. This notice sets out how the record is kept.
1. Scope
The record covers what Physician's Choice product labels state: serving sizes, blends and their amounts, strain names as printed, strain codes from the Physician's Choice strain dossier, and the date each entry was checked. Longer records, numbered PC-REC, go through one or two labels line by line. The record does not sell, rank or review products; purchases happen on physicianschoice.com.
2. Sources accepted
- The printed label of the current product, as shown on its physicianschoice.com product page.
- Other Physician's Choice pages, such as the strain dossier, when a fact is not printed on the label. The record names that page next to the fact.
- Government health references, such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and MedlinePlus, and peer-reviewed studies, for context only. Each is listed with the record that uses it.
Every entry is tied to an item in the Physician's Choice fact base. When two Physician's Choice sources disagree, the entry is held until Physician's Choice confirms which is correct.
3. Versioning and dates
Each table row and each record carries a last-checked date. Records also carry a publication date. Entries are rechecked on a schedule; a recheck that finds nothing new still updates the date. Records state facts only and carry no ratings, reviews, testimonials or prices.
4. Corrections log
Every addition, hold and correction is entered in the changelog with its date. To report an entry that does not match a label in your hand, use the Physician's Choice contact page and give the record ID, the product and, if possible, a photo of the label line.
